With A Little Help From My Friends

When I was first was married (and 26) my mother-in-law told me that I should never let go of my girlfriends. She said that I would need them to get through ups and downs in my life and hard times in my marriage. I had no idea how right she was!

I had lived in Huntington Beach since I was 21 and first married when I was 26, so I had five years worth of pretty decent girlfriends. And unfortunately, living in Georgia, I did not do a good job of keeping in touch with them. We didn’t have Facebook or anything. And with the time difference, it was just difficult to keep in touch. Introduction

So here’s me. I’m Diana. See that leftover mascara from last night under my eyes? See the baby sleeping on me because my boobs seem to be her favorite place to nap since birth? That’s me today. No deodorant, haven’t gotten to my teeth, jittery from my third cup of coffee in a shirt from yesterday. Boo!
