Old Age and the Car Seat

My baby’s car seat is a huge hassle. I have to run a lot of errands during the day and I’m willing to bet you I spend a half an hour total getting her in and out of the car seat on certain days. I do it anyway because I’m not any different than most mothers. I do it because that is the standard for protecting a kid. I love my baby and I want what’s best for her.

I’ve been a parent for almost 16 years. I’ve never had a car accident with a kid in the car. My skills of putting a baby in the car seat have thankfully never paid off. Continue reading “Old Age and the Car Seat”

The Heavy Hand

She has a hard time justifying deciding who his friends are when he is able to maintain all A’s. He also is very active in playing on the baseball and volleyball teams at the high school. He’s busy, and when he does have downtime he chooses to hang out with some old friends in the neighborhood. Continue reading “Mom Shaming or Good Parenting?”

Soiled Panties, A Dirty Diaper & Costco

Have you ever gone into a public restroom and seen a discarded pair of panties and wondered, “what the actual hell?”

Have you ever been in a parking lot and seen a dirty diaper and wondered, “who in the world does that?”

As of today, I have the answer!

Today I abandoned my panties at Costco and I nearly left Lincoln’s poopy diaper in the parking lot … here’s my story. Continue reading “Soiled Panties, A Dirty Diaper & Costco”
